NEW MILLENNIUM PROMISE - THE KING IS COMING !!!
The year 2000 AD completed two thousand years of the Christian era. No other person in human history has impacted nor influenced the lives of countless millions like Jesus. No other person, compassionately concerned for fallen humanity, was willing to die on a wooden cross to save us from evil.
However, one of the burning questions of this hour must be. What of the future? Some anticipate a bright new golden age while others predict degeneration, decay and darkness. One thing is certain, sincere and enlightened Christians of all races anticipate the imminent return of Jesus.

The Apostle Peter wrote :-
"But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8.
According to Peter’s calculation the Christian era is just witnessing the dawn of the THIRD DAY. The new millennium will be a GLORIOUS THIRD DAY for all true believers. Remember Jesus was raised from the dead early on the THIRD DAY.
When Christ returns, ‘The dead in Christ (those who have died in the faith) shall rise first: then others which remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words’. (1 Thess. 4 verses 16-18)
Remember on the THIRD DAY there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee and Jesus and His disciples were there. All true Christians are invited to the wonderful wedding supper of the Lamb in heaven when Christ returns on the THIRD DAY. (Read Revelation chapter 19 verses 7-9)
It was on the THIRD DAY that Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the sacred place where God finally confirmed His covenant with this loyal man of faith. True believers, having been taken by Christ, will return with Christ to reign with him on earth during the new millennium. (Read Revelation chapter 19 verses 11-16)
Sadly, according to Jesus, devastating events will occur on the earth between the period of Christ coming FOR HIS SAINTS and returning WITH HIS SAINTS. That is why Jesus warns us repeatedly to be ready and fully prepared.
‘For then shall be great tribulation (distress) such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened’ (Matthew Chapter 24 verses 21-22).
Friend, take heed, these are serious times, not to be taken lightly nor ignored. It is the hour to acknowledge our need of Christ, repent of any wrong doing and invite the living Jesus into our hearts. This is the moment to get right with God that we might escape those things which will soon come upon the earth. Gross darkness will precede the golden dawn.
